Do you want to organise something in Maastricht? Let us know by submitting your ideas. It doesn’t matter if it is just a rough sketch or a detailed plan; anything goes. Send it our way and we can see if and how we can help you in your endeavour.
Hint-Hint! Read this page carefully before you start drafting your plans. Everything you need to know can be found in the CHECKLIST, FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS and DOWNLOADS sections.
Anyone between the age of 12 and 25 can submit his or her ideas.
You live, work, or are a student in Maastricht.
Your idea has to add something to the city. Your project or activity is essentially an enrichment for the city and other young people living, working or studying in Maastricht. This way we work together to create a city that has something for everyone.
Kudos to you if your plan improves the world we live in. Luckily, most great plans and ideas do! However, CODE043 is not allowed to help realise projects of which any potential profit will go to a charity organisation. Additionally, politically motivated ideas or ideas with any religious origin are off the table as well.
You are motivated to create something you can be proud of. Congratulations, you’ve found the perfect place to start! We want you to create something solid, and love helping you do so. But keep in mind: we are a non-profit organisation, so we are prohibited from taking into account any personal profits. However, in the case that you do make a profit, and in doing so did not need any financial backing by us, it is yours and you can use it in whatever way you see fit.
Schools and universities are known to stimulate their students to come up with and organise projects. Great, right? This way, students are taught to create and realise their very own awesome projects. You don’t need our help for that, and frankly, that is not what we as an organisation are for. We only focus on the projects that you, as a person, would like to do in your own spare time.

CODE043 does not hand out subsidies, but we act as a guarantor. If your project plan is approved, this means we will give you a certain sum of money, so you can realise your project without taking a huge financial risk. This does imply that if the project is very profitable, we are not obliged to give you the entire guarantee.
Everything has to be submitted to us via our website. The deadline is set 6 weeks after the completion of your project.
No later than 8 weeks prior to the actual event. This deadline gives you time to plan everything in an organised fashion, and gives us time to take a close look at your plans. This ensures that we are able to give you feedback and enough time to use and incorporate that feedback.
The banner can be collected at our office during visiting hours. Always email or call us when you want to pick up the banners and we will make sure there will be one waiting for you. Keep in mind that one of the conditions is that you ensure that the banner is clearly visible.
You definitely can! This enables you to start investing in your project straight away, for instance buying the necessary food and drinks or booking an artist. To apply for an advance, log in to the website and go to the STATUS tab and just fill out the form.

As project manager, you might want to use the CODE043 logo for posters or other visuals. If this is the case, use the white logo if you have a colourful background, or the original logo if the background is white. If you would like a bigger logo, we can also supply you with that. For this and other questions, please contact Marie-Claire directly at email@example.com.
